Gaylon Beights, Chairman of Beights Corporation and President of the Redfields Development Corporation, was interviewed by non-profit news agency Charlottesville Tomorrow regarding the proposed growth at Redfields community in Albemarle County, Virginia.

Brian Wheeler, Executive Director of Charlottesville Tomorrow, interviewed Gaylon Beights following a presentation at a recent Planning Commission meeting to discuss the zoning and development of Redfields, an existing community located in the southern portion of Albemarle County, Virginia (Charlottesville).

Although some current Redfields residents consider the zoning application a request for additional housing units, the application is really just a reallocation of units included in the initial PRD to a different section.  According to Gaylon Beights, "We always intended and marketed that parcel as designated for future development... In fact, we'll never build out the full complement of homes allowed by our zoning, but we have an obligation to develop these 50 acres."
